Poetry is in the Streets is an exhibition of stunning photographs of surprising and unusual wall art from around the world, captured over the last ten years by British rock musician/photographer Gavin Thomas Aldred (GTA). Transcending mere graffiti, the subjects range from the obviously political through the subversive, to funny and quirky, but all share a compelling visual artistry. With prices ranging from $825 to $8250 ** in limited editions, these are not only desirable objects but are likely to prove their value as great investments. GTA will be on hand to sign copies of Gavins latest album Songs For Sale.

** GTA will donate 50% of all proceeds from the BritWeek April 28th special world premiere advance viewing of the April 30th Poetry is in the Street grand opening at the Gallery 509 to the UK-based charity Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT). GTA have raised over $150,000 for the TCT via concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and from sales of their hit UK single Feel, sold exclusively via Marks & Spencer stores.
