BritWeek is honored to present the multi award-winning band Daughtry live in concert at the BritWeek Gala Dinner benefiting Malaria No More. An active supporter of charity organizations since its inception in 2006, the band is fronted by former American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry and includes Josh Steely on lead guitar, Brian Craddock on rhythm guitar, Josh “JP” Paul on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Joey Barnes on percussion, keyboard and backing vocals.

Not only did Daughtry’s multi-platinum, self-titled debut album hit the top of the Billboard charts, it was named the number one selling album of 2007 by Billboard and officially stayed in the Top 200 for two years. The album’s runaway success has propelled Daughtry into rarified company as one of the few bands to score a trio of #1 songs from its debut. Daughtry is also the first group to land four Top 5 hits (from a debut effort) on the Adult Top 40 radio chart since the format was created in 1996. Their hit song Home became the official “kick off” song on the sixth season of American Idol, played after each contestant was voted off of the show. The song has also been featured on Australian Idol and Ídolos Brazil (the Brazilian version) as well during NASCAR and UK Soccer broadcasts.

Daughtry has toured throughout the US as well as in Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. Their new album is due to be released this summer.
