Legendary English rock guitarist Jeff Beck burst onto the music scene in 1966 when he joined the Yardbirds after the departure of Eric Clapton.
He played on almost all of the groupís hits, and his innovative style helped influence the psychedelic sound of the Ď60s.
Jeff Beck left the Yardbirds in 1967 to embark upon a journey of musical discovery that has lasted nearly four-decades as an Epic recording artist. During this time, he has left his distinctive mark on hard rock, jazz-fusion and modern music history.
He was ranked the 14th on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time," has won four Grammy awards for Best Rock Instrumental Performance and joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
